Last updated: June 2026. These terms are a working draft. Final legal review pending.
1. Who we are
Mael Labb is a small house of footwear, registered in Europe. By using maellabb.com (the "Site") or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Orders
An order placed through the Site is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send you a confirmation email. We may decline an order if a product is out of stock, the price has been displayed incorrectly, or for any reasonable business reason — in which case any payment is refunded in full.
3. Pricing & payment
Prices on the Site are in US dollars and include all applicable European taxes. Duties and import taxes on international orders are the buyer's responsibility.
Payment is taken at the time of order (in-stock) or at order placement (made-to-order). We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
4. Made-to-Order
Each Made-to-Order pair is built specifically for you. Ordering is automated: once your payment is confirmed the order is submitted to the atelier for production. For that reason Made-to-Order purchases are final and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged, except where there is a manufacturing defect.
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Within the first 24 hours we will make every reasonable effort to stop the order before production begins, but because the process is automated we cannot guarantee that it can be stopped. After 24 hours the order is final.
5. Shipping & returns
Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — photographs, text, illustrations, the Mael Labb name and logo — belongs to Mael Labb or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute without written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Mael Labb is registered. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
