Production lead times. Days marked in red are vacation and holiday periods at our workshop in Europe — orders placed during these windows queue and start production on the next working day.
Shipping
Shipping is free on every order — in stock or made to order. No minimum, tracked, and included in the price you see.
In stock — Elevated Collection
In-stock pairs ship free within 1 — 2 business days, with tracked delivery.
Made-to-Order — Quick (2 days)
Production takes 2 business days at the atelier, then the pair is dispatched directly to you. Shipping is included, exactly as it is on an in-stock pair.*
Made-to-Order — Atelier Standard (25 days)
The atelier requires 25 days to produce, then your pair is dispatched directly to you. Shipping is included.*
Shipping cost
- All orders — Free, tracked, to the continental United States. Shipping is already included in the price you see, whether the pair is in stock or made to order.
- What arrives — The shoes, a dust bag, and the shipping box, wrapped and prepared by hand for transit.

* Made-to-order pairs go into production automatically once payment is confirmed. If you need to change or cancel, contact us immediately — within the first 24 hours we will do everything we can to modify or stop the order, but we cannot promise it. After that the order is final.
Where we ship
We currently ship to the continental United States only. Shipping is included in the price of every pair — there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.
We do not yet ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other US territories, and we do not ship internationally. If you are outside the continental US and would like a pair, write to hello@maellabb.com and we will quote you directly.
Returns
In-stock pairs
Return for refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt. The shoes must be unworn, in their original box, with all packaging intact. Try them on a clean surface — soles that have touched the street can't be returned.
Return shipping is at your own expense. We ship your order to you for free, but the cost of sending a pair back to us is not covered — you arrange and pay for return postage. We recommend a tracked service, as we can't refund an item we don't receive.
Made-to-Order
Made-to-Order pairs are non-returnable as each is built specifically for you. If there is a manufacturing defect we will replace the pair at no cost. Email us within 7 days of receipt with photographs.
How to start a return
- Email hello@maellabb.com with your order number.
- We'll confirm the return address within one business day.
- Ship the unworn shoes (with the dust bag and box) back to us using a tracked service, at your own cost.
- Once we receive them, your refund is processed within 5 business days.
Exchanges
Need a different size or colour? Treat it as a return and place a new order — exchanges are processed faster this way, and your sizing question stops being your problem at the moment you ship the box back to us.
